The Algiers Charter School Association is part of a growing national movement that has seen the introduction of over 3,600 charter schools in the last thirteen years. The ACSA is working to make the schools within the association free from the burdens of conventional education structures, and that each school is open by choice to all students without admissions tests, is not religiously affiliated, and have high accountability standards. Our mission is to prepare every school and every teacher to teach every child, so that all will learn.

Founded in 1994, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History promotes the study and love of American history. The Institute serves teachers, students, scholars, and the general public. It helps create history-centered schools and academic research centers, organizes seminars and enrichment programs for educators, produces print and electronic publications and traveling exhibitions, sponsors lectures by eminent historians, and administers a History Teacher of the Year Award in every state in partnership with Preserve America.

The Historic New Orleans Collection is a museum, research center, and publisher dedicated to the study and preservation of the history and culture of New Orleans and the Gulf South region. General and Mrs. L. Kemper Williams, collectors of Louisiana materials, established the institution in 1966 to keep their collection intact and available for research and exhibition to the public.  Over the 40 years since its founding, The Historic New Orleans Collection has added to its holdings and augmented the physical structures that house them, established ambitious publishing and exhibition schedules, and developed innovative educational programs.

The Jesuit educational network is one of the largest systems in American higher education, with more than 200,000 students currently enrolled in the 28 U.S. Jesuit universities. It was with this focus that the Jesuits first arrived among the earliest settlers in New Orleans and Louisiana, eventually establishing what would become Loyola University and continuing the Jesuit tradition of creating centers of education. Loyola University New Orleans combines the academic excellence of its faculty and programs, an ideal size that fosters individual student success in a positive learning experience, and the Jesuit commitment to educating the whole person to provide students with a value-centered, liberal arts education.
